Intent: Nature collage art is a process-based art activity that lets children explore diverse materials and express themselves by creatively making a nature collage. It supports them in making choices, experimenting with textures, colours, and shapes, and creating something unique from nature.

Perspective-taking - Children develop a connection with nature and others as they explore and share materials with one another, and describe what they create.

cognitive: communicating findings (4.8) - presenting their ideas to others through drawing, telling, music, and movement. (Ontario ministry of education, 2014).
Materials: leaves, flowers, twigs, pebbles, rocks, pinecones, grass, glue, cardboard, paintbrushes for the glue, smocks, wet cloth for clean up.
Invitation to play:
Set up a table outdoors in a garden, then cover the table with a tablecloth and place a tray of natural materials such as leaves, flower petals, twigs, pinecones, seeds, pebbles, and also provide a piece of cardboard as the collage base with glue. Also, display a few ideas or samples to motivate the children to explore the materials and create their nature collage.

Materials:
Different colours of paints, large sheets of paper, smocks, and tape to hold the paper down to the table.
Invitation to play:
I will place a paper on a low table, and offer paints on the trays. I will encourage the children to explore with their fingers and hands, and explore the cause and effect of mixing two colours and see what colour it will give them.

Water painting on cardboard for infants is a process-focused sensory art activity that enhances their development. it also develops attention and experimentation by painting with water to create disappearing marks.

Physical- Fine motor (5.2)- holding and using tools- making marks with first crayon. (Ontario ministry of education, 2014).
Materials:
cardboards, a cup of water, paintbrushes, sponges
Invitation to play:
I will let the infants paint cardboard with a wet brush or sponge, noting "Look, your artwork is showing up!" and watching as the water evaporates, making the marks disappear.

watercolour paint, brushes, thick watercolour paper, art drawings, table salt, a cup of water.
Invitation to play:
I will let the children paint a design of their own, then sprinkle salt over the wet paint. I will let them have fun painting different designs with the watercolour. then, together, we will observe how the salt absorbs the pigment and creates patterns.
